How will youth get to and from the foyer for dentists, doctors, or other places?

A collaborative effort with AEOA and RMHC will make it possible for youth to receive the assistance they will need. Other transportation options are also available, such as Arrowhead Transit and volunteer drivers. A new AEOA-sponsored transportation program, Rural Rides, has also just started. Transportation Coordinators tailor a transportation plan, according to an individual’s needs. The Youth Counselor will help coordinate transportation for Foyer youth. Very few youth will actually have cars. The Southside location is close to many services like AEOA (about a mile); RMHC (just over one-half mile); Arrowhead Center (about one and one-half miles); Super One, Target (both around a mile); gas station/mini-mart (about one-quarter mile); downtown (just over a mile); and other services that will make it easy to transport youth to where they need to go.
