How would annexation of just the existing homes in Tesoro effect the builder’s ability to develop the future phases of our community?
• Many of the improvements for Tesoro Phase 2 are physically in the existing Tesoro Phase 1 area. The City has publicly stated its opposition to the development of the rest of our Tesoro master planned community. This will threaten the enhancements and improvements to the existing community. The ongoing annexation process could become a distraction to the LA County staff and officials, and may slow or stop the current entitlement of Phase 2. Thus, preventing the community from becoming a unified and integrated Tesoro Del Valle master planned community as envisioned, as well as the further enhancements being planned.
