Fees would be established with the intent of covering the operating and long-term maitenance costs of the community-use part of the building. The vision I have for the hall, created in response to the vestry’s inquiry could generate more income as it will be better equipped. The rent structure becomes more complicated and can be as fussy as that for Centennial Hall, where you are charged per light instrument used. If that is too much, it would be a find compromise to charge one rate for the Hall, another for the Hall and Kitchen, another to ad in the theatre lighting and sound, another the seating and so forth. TR would expect a rent reduction for the design work and ideas but would not expect to get in for free.
