How would the shut period effect the trading in stock exchanges?
In case of a security going into the shut period on the WDM, it would be suspended on the exchanges 5 working days prior to the IP date. For e.g. say a security s IP date is 28th Jan 2003, the security would in go the shut period from 24th Jan 2003 (26th Jan 2003, being a holiday is excluded) in the Wholesale Debt market. In this case the security will be suspended on the exchanges from the 22nd January 2003.
