How would you assess the performance of the new players of MANU, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea so far?
Yuri Zhirkov is still returning from injury with Chelsea, but in pre-season, he was out of this world. Glen Johnson has been immense since joining Liverpool, and Aquilani will no doubt strengthen the side, but is yet to play. Arshavin is sort of a new signing, with not being able to play much last season, and he is in fine form. Vermaelen has played very well in defense, but most notably has been scoring goals a centre-forward would be proud of, and quite regularly. Man United’s new boys haven’t featured too much, and Antonio Valencia – waste of a lot of money.
