How would you improve the citizenship test for people wanting to become US citizens?

First of all, I don’t think teaching “facts” or tidbits of knowledge does anything but make you good at Trivial Pursuit. I look at information as such…you can be knowledgeable or you can be smart. And smart can be what we think of in terms of intelligence…the ability to think and reason and solve problems, to more of an instinctive smarts…how to get by, how to accomplish things….what it boils down to is that we should both in our educational system and in our immigration system, place emphasis on the ability to figure things out. In regards to citizenship, it should be about getting good citizens. We should make the questions about ethics and morals…give people sets of circumstances adn ask what they would do. Make it almost a personality test, one that couldn’t be beaten by giving the answers you think they’re looking for. Question what’s important to the person, question their core values and ideals, and see if they’re a fit for our nation. What kind of work ethic do they h
