Hypothyroid, PCOS and fertility?
O.k. I am sure this is going to be long but I know it always helps to hear others stories so I will share mine with you, because it is a positive one! Hope it helps! I have PCOS, I had 2 surgeries to remove cysts when I was 23… I had NEVER had a period that was 2 months in a row, usually I would go 6-7-8 months without one. Hubby and I wanted a baby… my regular dr. was no help gave me clomid but it didn’t work, so we went to the specialist. Was on Clomid for a cycle, he gave me a double dose, said it wasn’t working and we needed to do IVF, first time didnt’ work! I was hystrical! I was only 26! Then my second time I had my son! (5 years old now) Then we wanted to try again, I also had lost some weight so I wanted to try Clomid before jumping into IVF again… we did, it didn’t work, did IVF, got my beautiful twins from that one… (they are 3) Last Sept. I was reading about PCOS and Meformin at my yearly I asked about it… Of course was told well we have to do all these tests… 4
