First of all, it would probably be nice for him to have a comforting smell like a towel that has their scent on it. It helped a lot when we got our dog, we had a towel with her mothers scent, and she never woke up in the night. On the first couple of days it is good to tucker her out so that when it is time for bed she won’t whine, and go to bed. It is important let her explore your home under your supervision so that she doesn’t have any accidents.
