I am already a member of a royalty collecting organisation (such as MCPS-PRS in the UK, ASCAP and BMI in the US, GEMA in Germany and SACEM in France). Can I sell music on Indmill?
Yes, as long as you tell us. We are obliged to pay some of your earnings on your UK sales as royalties through the UK’s collecting organisation MCPS-PRS. It will work out as less than half. You must register the music with MCPS-PRS, or other collecting organisation, to make sure you get these UK royalties in due course. We will pay you the remainder of the money from UK sales on request. Royalties are not deducted from US sales and your share (less our 10% and any charitable donation) will be paid to you on request.
