I am becoming a crock pot junkie. What are your favorite Crock Pot (slow cooker) recipes?
My all-time favorite meal is Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken. It comes out great. Just make sure you cook it on the lowest setting if you’re going to cook for 12+ hours. It’s terrific served over mashed potatoes or rice, and I’ve eaten leftovers as a pulled BBQ sandwich. It’s based on a recipe from Allrecipes, but I’ll put it here with my changes: INGREDIENTS • 4 frozen skinless, boneless chicken breast halves • 1 (18 ounce) bottle Cattleman’s Classic barbecue sauce (or whatever brand is your favorite, just make sure it’s 18 oz) • 1/2 cup Italian salad dressing • 1/4 cup brown sugar • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce DIRECTIONS • Place chicken in a slow cooker.
