First, you don’t need to jeopardize your security to use this service. Xfire uses TCP port 25999, and you’ll be connecting to the cs.xfire.com server. Make these changes to your firewall, and you’ll soon be locating your online compadres with the best of them. If there’s still no joy in logging on after you fiddle with the firewall modifications, please contact the Xfire website. Be sure to include pertinent information on your firewall (the brand, model, and software version number), and they will toil with you until the problem is fixed.
