The recent study by the Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) was performed using Synthetic Hormones. This study found that Synthetic Hormones increase the risks of strokes, heart attacks, breast cancer, and blood clots. Balance with Bioidentical Hormones has not been shown to increase these risks. In many studies hormonal balance with BHRT has been shown to be protective.
