The VA is considered as the first payer. If multiple forms of tuition-only funding are received, funds are returned to the other funding source. An exception to this rule is applied if the funding source is Military One Source (MyCAA) or GoArmyEd (CTAM). If the college receives a MyCAA or CTAM payment and a Chapter 33 payment, the Chapter 33 tuition payment is returned to you. The VA will recoup the funds directly from you. * These guidelines do not apply to the use of the Post 9/11 GI Bill and Title IV Financial Aid.
