A. Error 7 is a till rejection (i.e. the message is getting to the till without corruption but the till is rejecting it). The potential reasons for this are: Cause: Memory full, till can’t add any more data. Fix: Increase memory in the till or reduce the amount of data downloaded. One way to do this is to restrict the categories downloaded to the till via the area dialog or reduce the amount of active price levels in the area setup. Cause: The till is being sent price levels for product that it is not been setup for (i.e. if only 1 price level is defined as active on the till & price levels 2, 3, or 4 are sent to the till). This occurs when the active price levels for a location is changed & the No till resets option is turned on (in the popup menu on the ATW). This causes the active prices levels message not to be sent to the till & hence the S/W & till become out of sync. Fix: Turn off the “No till resets option” & force an update to the till. Cause: Invalid barcodes are defined. I.e
