Some good snacks would be fruit, veggies and dip or cheese. For lunch, he could take grilled chicken breast, left-over meatloaf or roast beef, sliced meat wrapped in cheese, a bowl of chicken or tuna salad with tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers and other veggies. He can even go to a burger joint and have a couple of hamburgers or cheeseburgers… without the bun. He can have a taco salad without the tortillas, beans or guacamole.
