The Department of Health and Community Services is currently working on a Provincial Physician Resource Plan. Although the document is not yet available, a great deal of work has been completed. If you would like to pose a question related to the current and potential opportunities for a particular specialty in the province, please contact the Provincial Physician Recruitment Coordinator, Scarlet Hann at shann@mun.ca or (709) 777-6031. Using all available resources, your questions will be presented to the Department of Health and Community Services, as well as Regional Health Authorities, to provide the most current information available to help you with this important decision.
