Under [Configuration]->[Adapter Settings] page, choose ‘Full Duplex Pass Through’ when using a tap. In this mode, the cards terminate the signal from both monitor ports on the tap as it arrives at the cards, so the card sees all traffic but the traffic does not flow through the cards themselves. In the ‘Full Duplex Forward’ option, the cards themselves capture and forward all traffic received on one card out the other (and vice-versa). Use this option when not using a tap.
