I would also suggest that if you are bereaved that you also look into Spiritualism. There are Spiritualists churches in most British towns with mediums demonstrating for free from the platform. Spiritualism offers free Sunday services or special evenings of clairvoyance for a small fee. As a medium I too enjoy working regularly in Spiritualist Church.
