I feel drawn to religious life, but can’t see myself as a sister for all my life. Can one make a short-term commitment as an Ursuline?
A. Yes! We recognize that a permanent commitment may not be right for all women. After living and studying with us as a postulant and then a novice, you may make a temporary profession of vows. These vows are to consecrated celibacy, Gospel poverty and apostolic obedience in community. You may later choose to make a perpetual profession of these same vows, consecrating yourself to God forever.
