I finished KeyScan installation, how do I check if the KeyScan keyboard and internal built in USB2 hub are functional?
• Make sure the KeyScan KS810 is connected to your PC with the KeyScan original USB2 cable. • Turn on your PC and let windows finish startup process. • Look at the rear connector panel of the KS810 (right where the USB cable is connected to the KS810 unit). • Near the USB cable connector you should see a small hole, inside the hole you should see Green blinking light, this blinking light indicates the on going USB communication between you KS810 and the PC. • In case you do not have such blinking light- • Try to disconnect the USB cable from the KS810 (if the power cable is connected disconnect also the power cable). • After 10 seconds reconnect the USB cable ad the Green light should start blinking within 10-20 seconds. • If you still do not have the blinking light try to restart your PC and repeat the above process. • After you do see the blinking Green light, open any word processing application and try to use you KeyScan keyboard.
