I have a Ping G5 driver 10.5 degrees loft, but I hit my drives really high. Would I be better off with a stiff flex shaft?

You would be better off with a lower loft such as 8 – 8.5 degrees. There may also be something with your swing that is causing you to increase the angle and artificially adding loft to your club. Personally I am more comfortable with a driver with no more than 9 degrees loft and that helps me keep it down. You will have to try different approaches and see what works for you. It’s hard to say without more info.
