MiniDVD camcorder discs are very convenient. However, because of their small size, they cannot be played in some DVD players or in "slot-loading" DVD drives (such as on many notebook computers). We can compile all those half-hour discs into one or a few regular-size DVDs. It's the one format type we convert that is not videotape!
