If you have an Alcatel/Thomson SpeedTouch router and are unable to use the service, you may need to modify certain settings. To make these changes you will first need to telnet into your router. Then follow these instructions: 1. Enter your username and password when prompted. 2. Type nat unbind and press Enter . (If the command is not accepted, enter nat and then enter unbind.) 3. Type SIP and press Enter . 4. Type 5060 and press Enter. (If you are prompted for “end port” press the Enter key or enter 5060 .) 5. Type saveall and press Enter. 6. Reboot the router. Some models of the 510 router require different commands. After entering your username and password, follow these instructions: 1. Type nat unbind application=SIP port=5060 and press Enter. 2. Type config save and press Enter . 3. Reboot the router.
