I have heard about ghost wineries. What are they and why are they special?

Ghost wineries are really interesting. They are wineries that existed before the 1920’s were closed down due to Prohibition and are now opening back up again. Some of them are in the old winery buildings and some have re-opened in completely new facilities with the old structure still standing.
