I have phone/directory administration tools for the moves, add & changes in my organization. Can I import its data to automate/simplify system entries?
Yes. Depending on the tool, your organization MACs can be imported on a scheduled basis: (1) If you are using Avaya VisAbility™ Management Suite’s ASA module for DEFINITY switches, you can use the Switch Data Import function (NOTE: This is an “add-on” module, which requires a separate purchase). (2) If you are using any other tool that can export to a “|”-delimited text file, you can use the built-in Import Data function. See also Advanced Imports FAQs.
