NOW’s spray combines the benefits of Erythritol and Xylitol together to produce an effective formulation. Both sugar alcohols are effective osmotic agents. In fact, gram for gram, Erythritol is actually more effective than Xylitol. In technical terms, Erythritol has a lower molecular weight and thus produces a higher osmotic pressure than Xylitol. Both sugar alcohols work together to lessen the adherence of particles to the nose.
