Hari, yes it is possible.  According to the Greyhound Bus website (www.greyhound.com) it would take approximately 23 hours and 50 minutes.  It looks like you would only have to transfer buses in Washington, D.C. and then again in Charlottesville, VA and then you would go all the way to Memphis.

Since you did not specify when you would be riding there are several schedules and this was for the departure time of 8:10 a.m. on 09/30/2010 and arriving in Memphis, TN at 7:00 a.m. on 10/01/2010.

There is another schedule where you would depart at 6:10  p.m. on 09/30/2010 and arrive in Memphis at 2:35 p.m. on 10/01/2010.  You would transfer in Charlottesville, VA and then you would go all the way to Memphis.

The last, and third schedule, is where you would depart at 8:10 p.m. on 09/30/2010 and arrive in Memphis, TN at 9:20 p.m. on 10/01/2010.  You would transfer at Washington, D.C. and then again in Atlanta, GA and then again Birmingham, AL and then end in Memphis at 8:10 p.m.  This seems to be the longest route and I would avoid at all costs.

If you purchase your tickets online, all three routes are $114.40, but if you purchase at the station in Woodbridge all three routes are $130.00.

Hope this helps…Susan
