I have two free nights per month, what’s the best way to make some extra income?

Mostly I’m looking to pay down some debt, and put away some extra money for retirement. I started saving too late and I need to catch up.

Think about what skills you have. If you are good with the keyboard then you could consider data entry and transcription work. If you are not so fast with a keyboard then search engine evaluation would be good flexible work with sites like Clickworker, Appen and Leapforce always looking for contractors on a self-employed basis. You can do user testing where you get paid to test websites but you need to enjoy talking about what you are doing as you navigate the site. You could look at affiliate marketing around an interest or hobby that you enjoy endorsing products, books and digital products associated. There are lots of videos on youtube that teach you all about affiliate marketing. You could have a go at self-publishing an ebook, paperback book or even build a course on sites like Udemy based on a topic that you have excellent knowledge of. Blogging is another way to make money on the side but it will take time to build content and get established (typically two years before the money starts rolling in from advertising). When choosing what you do as an extra income you need to decide on how much time you can put in. You could set up an e-commerce store or sell on eBay, Etsy or Amazon FBA. Some side hustles will need lots of input and time whereas others may just need upfront time but then can be quite passive once you set them up. Look at building extra income streams around your main job and you should start to see a nice little nest egg.

What is your question?
