I have used qedhere to move the QED symbol to the last line of a display, but its centered vertically on the display. How can I move it to the last line?
• When a multi-line display is coded as a “first-level” environment — align, gather, etc. — the QED symbol will be placed on the last line. • When a “subsidiary” environment is used — aligned, gathered, etc. — the QED symbol will be vertically aligned on the lines within this environment. The best solution is to use a first-level environment. • If the cases environment is used, \qedhere will always center the QED symbol vertically. This will be noted in the job log by Package amsthm Warning: The \qedhere command may not work correctly here citing the relevant input line number.
