Students may qualify for up to two scheduled awards (200%) per year of Pell grants. If students have received their first scheduled award (100%) and they enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours, they may qualify for a 2nd Pell Grant. During summer, the second Pell Grant could be from either the 2010-2011 year or 2011-12 year if CCC has FAFSAs from both years. Pell grants for a payment period may be combined using the first and second scheduled awards if the student is eligible. For the summer of 2011, CCC will pay summer Pell Grant out of 2010-11 or 2011-12, whichever award year provides the student with the most Pell grant money. Students must have a valid FAFSA on file for the year used to determine Pell grant eligibility. If students have exhausted their first scheduled award and they enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours they may be eligible for a 2nd scheduled Pell award. Student must have one hour which would count into their second year (often referred to as “acceleration.”) CCC d
