I heard on a recent news report that some US military systems are vulnerable because some components are being produced outside the US. Is it a good idea for our military to trust the manufacturing techniques of other countries?

Hell no – it’s one of the stupidest things we have ever done. Everything we need for the military should be made in this country and not some other….in fact everything wee need to run this nation in times of crisis should be domestically produced here. If it isn’t then we could wind up like England during World War 2 – our very survival being dependent on supplies constantly arriving to our shores from abroad. Let our tax money be spent here – on domestically produced products – made by the taxpayers themselves – instead of spending our tax money on making potential adversaries wealthier and stronger. Really – think about your own neighbors and family first – if we are prosperous here then we can do more and better things for those in other lands who don’t have it as well as we do.
