I heard that animal researchers are submitting their ethics applications electronically. Can I use an electronic submission process for UBC Okanagan REB?
No, not yet. The Animal Care Committee is the first review committee at UBC to move to the RISe system (RISe = Researcher Information System-ethics). Starting February 15, 2006, faculty members at UBC Okanagan have been able to submit and manage animal care applications through RISe. For human subject research the five UBC Research Ethics Boards will be converted to RISe during 2006. More details will be available later.
