I heard that there was also a class action settlement involving NOx rod furnaces distributed by Amana, American Best, Bard, or Goettl. Do I have rights under that class action?
If you own a NOx rod furnace distributed by Amana, American Best, Bard, or Goettl, then you are a member of a settlement class certified by the Superior Court, Santa Clara, in Salah v. Consolidated Industries, Inc., Case No. CV 738376. A copy of the Stipulation of Settlement that was approved by the Court and governs your rights may be obtained here. Please note the the deadline for filing a claim under the class action settlement (October 1, 2002) has now passed. Accordingly, the only remedy now available to you as that under the CPSC program.
