A. Students can apply any time during their senior year. In fact, there may be opportunities for juniors and seniors to take York Technical College credits while still in high school. However, if students take the placement test in their junior year or very early in their senior year, their scores may not reflect the levels of achievement in English, Reading, and Math which could be gained by graduation. Students who plan to enroll in the Fall should probably take the COMPASS around March.
