First off, avoid contacting the previous homeowner or the realtor. This is a problem that should have been picked up on during negotiations. Sadly, buying a home means taking a few risks and hoping for goodwill from the seller. If your drains are a mess, though, I feel your pain. The best advice I can give you is to hire someone who can deal with Chester blocked drains.

I used a local company called Drain Brains (https://drainbrains.co.uk/), and they were great. They managed to come out quickly, look, and find out what was causing the blockage. They were here, solved the issue, and were away from home within about two hours. Sorted. The problem has not come back since, so hopefully, you can get a solution like me that, you know, works!
