Only you can really decide what is best in this situation. For myself, I always say that if my guy cheated, I’d be gone in a flash. At the same time, no one really knows what they’d do if it actually ever came up. Really, you have to look at your relationship, and figure out if it’s not only something you’re willing to work at, but something your girlfriend is willing to work at. She obviously had a moment of weakness, so I think it’s worth it to look deeper and see if there’s not something missing somewhere between you two. If you feel it’s worth it to at least try saving your relationship, then it’s no one’s place to look down on you for it. The easier solution is always to pick up and leave rather than to work through things. Protect your heart, and realize that there is a possibility your relationship won’t be able to be salvaged.
