Flowers are a universal symbol of sympathy and support. Even if youve missed the funeral, its always appropriate to send flowers. You may also wish to wait until an anniversary date (one month or even one year,) to send flowers to the family of the deceased. This is a comforting reminder that you are thinking about them and their loss at a difficult time.
