You can’t. DSL and Cable modems are not fax capable. They do not contain the circuitry necessary for communicating with fax machines. You will still need your regular fax modem to send and receive faxes. The fax modem will not conflict in any way with your broadband modem and both can coexist happily in your computer. If you have DSL from your phone company then you can plug your modem and a telephone set into the DSL by means of a splitter. You can find them at any electronics store, they are very inexpensive.
