I love the latest shiny skin make-up but will it work for the wedding photography?
A. “Shiny skin” make-up is really the look of the moment. But there is a fine line between a fresh modern look and looking sweaty, especially in pictures. A glow is gorgeous and can be very flattering when applied correctly. A fail-safe way of achieving a controlled glow is to start with a satin finish foundation. Keep the T-zone shine free with out powder by patting one of the many mattifying lotion/creams over the foundation. Sweep a shimmery shadow over the eyes or just under the arch of the brows. Keep a sheen on your cheeks by applying a cream blush with your fingers, along the cheekbones and blend. Dot a bit more on the apples of your cheeks for healthy glow. Now add shine using a shimmery cream or powder along the tops of the cheekbones. Complete the look with either a sheer lip color or touch of gloss. Don’t forget your body; use a body lotion with a hint of shimmer to complete the look.
