The older GS motor has been replaced with the GU design so the new part number would be 5IK60GU. “GS” and “GU” both indicate the type of pinion shaft on this motor and what gearheads can be used with the motor. Please remember it is important to match GU motors with GU gearheads. This means if you are replacing a 5IK60GS motor with a 5IK60GU motor, you must also replace the gearhead. Likewise, the older GK-type has been replaced with GN, so be sure to use GN motors with GN gearheads.
