I only have Petz 4. If I adopt a petz from a site that uses Petz 5, will it work?

I’ve tried this, and it doesn’t work. In order to play with any petz that have been converted to Petz 5, you have to buy Petz 5. If you have Petz 5, however, you can pretty much adopt any petz you want and won’t have conversion problems unless it is for a hexed breed.
