The short answer is yes, but please contact us for help if you wish to do this. The problem is that you will not be able to use the encrypted thumb drive or hard drive on a computer that doesn’t have PGP installed on it. Because of this, ITS does offer help choosing USB drives that come pre-encrypted and can be used with virtually any computer. Please email the ITS Service Desk for more information.
