Testing yourself before and after a meal produces some dramatic readings! If you thought you could put away that cheesecake and flush it down with a double espresso without comment from your body, you’re mistaken, and the CMD retest after this snack will express your body’s reaction to these foods. A less complex reaction will appear after consuming a SINGLE food, i.e., a glass of milk. If just this single food brings down your energy reading, there is reasonable suspicion that the food is not well tolerated by your body or may even cause an allergy. Just holding the food while testing will also be sufficient to indicate tolerance or intolerance to this food. If a particular food repeatedly tests as intolerant, this points to a food allergy.
