I think my dog may have eaten chicken bones, what should i do?

Raw chicken bones can be eaten by dogs–many dogs on a raw diet eat raw chicken bones with no problem. When raw, the bones are more elastic. Cooked chicken bones are brittle, and can splinter and be very sharp. If your dog starts choking, gagging, vomiting, has any bloody stool or is straining to go with no results, call your vet. Good luck.
