A Sterilize and wash everything with chlorine, including the aerator on your tap. Then rinse well. If you keg your beer, try taking apart the In and Out and also cleaning these. Goto FAQ Q I keg my beer in a Cornelius canister and usually this works well, but recently I have had some problems, such as an off taste. I sterilize the kegs immediately before and after use and keep them under pressure when not in use. I blast through the tubes with CO2. A Rinse, then wash the kegs very thoroughly. Unscrew the Ins and Outs and remove the tubes. Rinse everything well with hot water and flush. Disinfect with sanitiser for 10 – 20 min. Rinse all surfaces with hot water and air dry. Re-assemble and store with lid attached. Re-sanitize again before using. Goto FAQ Q Sometimes my wine doesn t clear – I keep it warm all the time. A When you transfer your wine to the carboy (Stage 2), move it to a cooler place; this should help.
