I want to fill my Heirloom Hourglass with shells, pebbles, un-screened sand, soil, and other materials….does it matter if they don’t all flow through the middle hole?

Part of what makes Heirloom Hourglass special is that you can fill it whenever you wish with whatever fits that you feel best represents your “Once In A Lifetime” moment. We don’t recommend filling your Heirloom Hourglass with liquids, abrasive materials, or hazardous materials, but we find that a wide variety of items can be used to fit your personality and tastes. Items that are not screened properly may not flow through the center hole, but can still be used if you desire. Heirloom Hourglass can be filled from either end, so you can fill up each side with different colors of sand, shells, seaglass, or whatever you wish!
