If the Force update option is grayed out, it means that the last update encountered an error that required the client to stop updating to avoid your account to be blocked for abuse. Nevertheless, if you fixed the problem and you want to make a new attempt, right-click your host name in the status box, select Clear and answer yes to the warning message. Now Force update is enabled and you can select it from the menu. 28. Is DynSite able to update my own domain name? I don’t want to use a sub-domain of a dynamic DNS service. Yes. You just have to sign up with one of the services that can manage domain names instead of just hosts or sub-domains.
