It is actually a “feature” for Internet Explorer. If you don’t like the “click” sound, open up your Windows Control Panel, double click the “Sounds and Audio Devices” and then select the “Sounds” tab. Scroll down the “Program Events” box, until you encounter “Start Navigation” – select it. From the “Sounds:” drop down box, scroll all the way up and select “(None)” and you won’t hear the click whenever you change web pages.
