If a resident progresses/or requires additional assistance, may they be reassessed for care level?
Yes, residents may be reassessed whenever necessary. The three levels of care (residential, regular assisted living and intensive assisted living) are available to residents as their needs progress or as they require additional assistance. If a resident living in an independent living unit finds that they need personal care, they can be relocated to the assisted living facility.
