If an accused person fails to turn up for a diet and a warrant is issued am I entitled to claim the fixed payment at that stage?
The guidance given in The Recorder Issue number 19 at page 7 remains in force. The Board will only accept claims where it is clear the client is not likely to be apprehended. There is no rigid deadline for such cases but the Board would judge that allowing a period of two to three months before submitting the account would be sufficient.
